Location

Brac is the largest Dalmatian island with a large number of inhabited places characterized by the spirit of tradition. Rich history and traditional construction are just one of the reasons to visit this island.

The natural diversity of the island, numerous beaches, untouched nature and crystal clear sea are the most common reasons to visit the island. Although the island of Brac is well connected with major places on the coast, it offers all the benefits of staying on the island - reduced number of people, isolated locations, hidden beaches and bays, and a quieter experience of tourist attractions.

Brac provides an exceptional climate, typical of this climate. Visitors can enjoy more than 2700 hours of sunshine a year.

For more than 100 days a year, the average temperature is over 25C, while the average sea temperature in the summer months is over 22C, and the bathing season extends from mid-May to mid-October.

The pebble beach Zlatni rat is certainly one of the main natural attractions of the island.

You can use Zlatni rat for swimming and sunbathing, but also enjoy the view of this natural phenomenon from Vidova gora, the highest peak of the Adriatic islands (778m).

On the south side of the island you will find a number of pebble beaches, which are ideal for enjoying swimming and sunbathing.

Brač offers exceptional gastronomic experiences, among which olive oil, sheep cheese, lamb dishes, fish and top wines, especially Plavac mali, stand out.

Larger populated places such as Supetar and Bol offer visitors a variety of tourist offers and facilities, especially in the evening.
